Youth Seed Enterprise Program Assistant
Allie is a Program Assistant for the Youth Seed Enterprise program at Trellis for Tomorrow. She’ll be helping the teens both in the gardens and in their learning journeys. Allie’s bringing her years of nonprofit management and youth activist organizing skills back to her hometown in Montgomery County. A diverse degree of Russian & Eastern European; Women & Gender; and Planning, Public Policy, & Management Studies from the University of Oregon led to stints of studying and working in Central and Eastern Europe. There, Allie attended urban design and geopolitics seminars and conferences, worked in B&Bs and hostels, and participated in international student eco-projects. She finished her Masters in Urban Strategy at Drexel University, and has since gotten active in her local community, coaching youth sports and volunteering at the historical society. Allie is excited to share in the learning and growing of a community of youth gardeners becoming better stewards of our planet.
