The Program Assistant is a seasonal, part time position that works alongside a Youth Program Director leading one or two youth cohorts. Program Assistants are eager to work with youth and excited about the possibility of helping them to realize their highest potential. Strong candidates will have an open mind, an upbeat, positive attitude, be empathetic, and have a good sense of humor.
This position will commence in May and culminate in late August. Work hours will vary, with a lighter load in May and early June, ramping up to about30 hours a week mid-June through mid-August. The Trellis for Tomorrow offices are based in Phoenixville, and YSE program locations are in Phoenixville, Spring City,and Pottstown.
The Agricultural Specialist is a full-time position that supports the agricultural aspects of all Trellis’ programs. The Agricultural Specialist reports to the Agricultural Program Manager and will primarily support the Food for All (FFA) program sites, while also making significant contributions to the SEED Skills program sites.
The agricultural specialist will report to, and work with, the Agricultural Program Manager. The primary goal of the Agricultural Specialist position is to maintain healthy crops in our 20+ FFA partner gardens sites and our SEED Skills youth garden sites. This includes assisting with garden design, builds, plantings, maintenance, and harvests. The role includes both planning, logistical, and “outward facing” aspects. Agricultural Specialists will regularly be asked to guide volunteers and partners through plantings, garden checks, harvests, and other activities. The agricultural specialist will be expected to represent Trellis with a high degree of professionalism and nurture our community relationships.
