David Ryle

David Ryle is the Senior Program Director at Trellis for Tomorrow and works with our incredible team to create impactful programs designed to build community resilience, youth development and greater food security for our region. With a background in youth ministry and a career deeply rooted in social justice, David is a firm believer in the power within people, especially young people, to work together to bring about positive change. Drawing on nearly 15 years of experience in organic agriculture – from urban gardening to large-scale, community-centered commercial farming – he combines practical know-how and a passion for sustainability as he works to encourage young and old alike to rethink our food system. David and his wife live in East Coventry where they run an organic farm and an herbal tea company.
