Partnering with Trellis

Our partnerships with area businesses are exciting and inspiring examples of symbiotic relationships. There are so many ways in which businesses can partner with Trellis, and many of our partners engage with us in more than one, such as hosting youth interns, having a garden onsite, and serving as board members. Below you can learn more about the variety of ways your organization can benefit from partnering with Trellis. Please reach out to us for more information!

Onsite Food For All Gardens

Trellis can help you establish a garden at your workplace where employees get outside, learn about growing organic vegetables, and have a significant impact on food insecurity in the area.

Youth Programs Partner

Trellis offers a variety of programs for youth that profoundly change lives. By supporting a youth or youth program, you will have a host of opportunities to engage with us and content to share that will inspire internal and external stakeholders. Learn more about youth partnership opportunities here.

Board and Committee Members

Trellis has a talented and growing board and set of four board committees. Our board and committee members benefit from professional development, personal growth, networking, and the opportunity to give back. Meet our board members here and fill out an interest form to learn more.

Host or Sponsor an Intern

Trellis has a highly successful intern placement program. If you are a business with social impact/CSR goals, you are eligible to apply for a paid intern. Or, you can sponsor an intern for a paid position at an area nonprofit. Learn more here.

Employee Giving Program

Many people get excited about supporting kids and growing clean food locally. We would love to be added to your list of options for employee giving and/or matching programs and can make a presentation or provide materials. Contact Jennifer Salvo at 610-886-4905.

Volunteer and Pro Bono Time

Offering paid volunteer hours is a great way to provide an employee benefit and to give back to the community. We have a wide variety of options for your employees that can be long- or short-term projects. Learn more on our volunteering page.

Foundation Grants

Grants are a critical source of income that allow us to keep serving youth and food insecure families. If you offer a grant option for nonprofits, we would love to learn more. Please reach out to our Development Director, Jennifer Salvo, at 610-886-4905.

Tax Credits!

Are you interested in obtaining tax credits for your business? Talk to us about the possibility of partnering for an Educational Improvement Tax Credit from the PA Department of Economic Development. Please reach out to Jennifer Anderson for more information at 610-886-4901.

Our partnership brings together two organizations whose missions align and whose passion for stronger, healthier communities and more sustainable food systems is at the forefront of what they do.

- Kimberton Whole Foods

During a really hard day, nothing gets you out of your own head better than going out and spending a little time with your hands in the dirt. It really has been a great partnership.
