Get Involved

You can make a direct positive impact on the lives of youth and their communities by becoming a part of the Trellis for Tomorrow volunteer team. We have a wide variety of opportunities, some of which are highlighted below. Click on Apply Now at the top of this page to fill out our volunteer form. We will work to schedule a time to discuss your interests and availability so we can find the right fit.

Board and Committee Members – Our Board and Committees are growing! Benefit from professional development, personal growth, networking, and the opportunity to give back and join our Board or one of our four committees: Internal Affairs, External Affairs, Finance, and Governance.

Our Programs

Do you have an hour to spare? Our youth would love to learn from you. No matter if you are a music instructor, physician, therapist, financial advisor, career coach, chef, yoga instructor, attorney or dentist. Get in touch with us to see how you could support our programs and our participants!

Our Events

Help us with our fundraising events by joining an event committee, conducting outreach, creating marketing materials, or helping with event set up and day of support and much more. There’s always something you can do to make the event successful!

In the Office

Would you like to volunteer for 2 or more hours during the week between 8:30 am and 5 pm? Come join us at our office. From helping with social media and graphic design for our newsletters to stuffing envelopes and entering data, we always appreciate the help!

Volunteer Waiver Form



    1. I acknowledge that any event is a test of a person's physical and mental limits and carries with it the potential for death, serious injury and property loss. The risks include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, equipment, lack of hydration, sharp tools and implements, tool failures, insect bites, snake bites, allergic reactions, ticks, lifting and loading/unloading materials, other outdoor risks, travel and actions of other people including, but not limited to, other participants, and producers of the event.

    2. I hereby assume all of the risks of participating in this event. I realize that liability may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained or controlled by them or because of their possible liability without fault.

    3. I certify that I am sufficiently physically fit to be a participant in the event and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person.

    4. I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability (AWRL) form will be used by event holders, sponsors and organizers, in events in which I may participate and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities at said events.

    5. In consideration of my application and permitting me to participate in this event, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:
      1. I Waive, Release and Discharge the following entities or persons: Trellis for Tomorrow, [Event Partner], their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives and agents, event holders, event promoters, event sponsors, event volunteers, event permit grantors, event property owners, and other event participants, from any and all liability including, but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, lost income, or any other losses, costs or actions of any kind which hereafter may accrue to me by virtue of my training for this event, my participation in this event or my travel to or from this event;

      2. I Indemnify, Hold Harmless and Promise Not to Sue the entities or persons mentioned in Paragraph 5(A) from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise.

    6. I further agree that any Trellis representative or Event Partner representative is authorized to obtain emergency medical treatment for me, up to and including emergency hospitalization and surgery. In the event of an emergency. I agree to be personally responsible for any related medical expense.

    7. I understand that at this event or related activities, I may be photographed. I agree to allow my photo, video or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors, organizers and or assigns.

    8. IMPORTANT: Trellis for Tomorrow and [Event Partner], and any other organizers of this event do not provide insurance coverage for injuries that occur at the event. The costs related to those injuries are the responsibility of the individual participant.

    9. The AWRL shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.

    If applicable:
    PARENT/GUARDIAN WAIVER FOR MINORS (under I8 years old): The undersigned parent and natural guardian or legal guardian does hereby represent that he/she is, in fact, acting in such capacity and agrees to save and hold harmless and indemnify each and all of the parties referred to above from all liability, loss, cost, claim or damage whatsoever which may be imposed upon said parties because of any defect in or lack of such capacity to so act and release said parties on behalf of the minor and the parents or legal guardian.
